The Hustlers will be looking to get back on track after a long road trip this upcoming week. Lexington faces the Cincinnati Steam at the friendly confines of Henry Clay High School on Wednesday.
In their first 15 games of 2012, the Hustlers play only four at home, with four doubleheaders. Taylor Rozier continues to swing a hot bat for Lexington, and is batting .375 with a league-leading 9 RBI so far in 2012. Matt Honchel, who was named to multiple Freshman All-American teams, is batting .353 with four stolen bases.
Logan Shaftner owns a 2.70 ERA through two starts for Lexington, with Austin Clay and Jake Hall both toting ERA’s of 3.48. Brent Cobb has also pitched well, with a perfect 2.2 innings pitched in three appearances for the Hustlers.
Lexington faces Cincinnati on Wednesday at Henry Clay High School. First pitch is set for 7:05pm.
