Wofford’s Taylor Rozier (.421 batting average) and Morehead State’s Chase Greenwell (.417) have led the way offensively for the Hustlers. Both have tallied five RBI in as many games this summer.

The pitching has also been solid so far for the 2012 Hustlers. Lincoln Trail’s Jacob Hall (1-0, 0.00 ERA) and Western Kentucky’s Austin Clay (1-0, 1.50) both notched quality starts in their Hustlers debuts. Closer Brent Cobb, who attends Eastern Kentucky University, has notched two saves in as many appearances, and is yet to surrender a hit to opposing batters.

The Hustlers are slated to play six games in the second week of the season, beginning with home dates against Cincinnati and Xenia on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively. Lexington travels to Lake Erie for a four-game road series against the Monarchs, with a single games on Friday and Sunday wrapped around a Saturday doubleheader.
