Hustlers re-up with Raising Cane’s

Hustlers and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers have teamed up again for the 2012 season, the team announced this week. Raising Cane’s will continue to be the ‘official chicken finger’ of the Lexington Hustlers, and will provide postgame meals for players after a select number of games.

Raising Cane’s, founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996, specializes in ‘always fresh, never ever frozen’ chicken fingers, and is well-known for its signature special sauce. The restaurant has agreed to provide post-game meals for the Hustlers and their opponents after a number of home games.

There are currently three Raising Cane’s locations in Lexington: on campus at the University of Kentucky (544 South Upper Street), in Hamburg (2201 War Admiral Way), and at 2555 Nicholasville Road.

The Hustlers begin their season on June 8, hosting the Xenia Scouts on Opening Day. First pitch at Henry Clay High School is set for 7pm.
