J.T. Riddle has been named to the All-Great Lakes League First Team, the league announced Monday.
Riddle hit .343 with 10 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs and 17 runs batted in this past summer. He also went 2-1 with a 2.60 ERA on the mound. The 2010 KHSAA Mr. Baseball award winner was selected to the team as a utility player.
“J.T. did an exceptional job all summer for us,” said general manager and pitching coach Adam Revelette. “He did everything- pitched, played great defense, and was a terror at the plate. It’s going to be fun to watch him develop and grow as a baseball player and person.”
In addition to starting games on the mound, Riddle was also inked into the lineup at first base, second base, shortstop, and right field. He will be a sophomore next year at the University of Kentucky.
